A personal record is a completed heavier lift, not a bigger strength number sitting unused. Daily quests can ask for two new PRs, so pick the attempt when the stamina bar can support it.
Attempt a heavier load
- Train a station you can already repeat. Read its muscle label so the PR counts for the muscles you meant to train.
- Recover first. Drink if the bar is low, or wait for regeneration. A failed rep because the bar hit zero is not a record.
- Raise the load one step. Early tutorial steps move through 5, 10, and 15 kilograms, and a chest prompt reaches 20 kilograms. Use the client's own next plate rather than a jump you cannot finish.
- Complete the rep. If the new load always dies after one movement, drop back, add treadmill time, and try again later.
- Rotate. The tutorial wants arms, chest, back, shoulders, legs, and abs, not one station forever.
Gear that changes the lift
Wrist Straps, Elbow Wraps, the Belt, and the Slingshot are strength gear. Equip them in Inventory. The Slingshot stays invisible, so check the equipped flag. Their Robux shortcut passes are not for sale. Buy and upgrade them with Cash in the Shop. Upgrade costs are shown on the prompt. They are not listed as fixed prices here.
Strength gear does not refill stamina.
Passes that change the attempt
- 1.5X Gain, 199 Robux: 1.5 times strength gains on every exercise.
- Super Protein, 399 Robux: more strength and faster muscle growth. It is a different product from 1.5X Gain. No published test says which one adds more strength per rep.
- 1.5X Stamina, 249 Robux: faster regeneration, so you get back to the next attempt sooner.
- Auto Lift, 450 Robux: performs the reps and adds weight when you are ready, including AFK. You still need stamina for that added weight.
Turn on a timed 2x Gains boost, from SPECIALBARS, UpdateNextWeek, or the group reward, only after the station and a drink are ready.
Genetics can change physique stats, such as the documented +4% arm and leg size result. Read the gene you have. Do not reroll it in the middle of a PR attempt. The lock steps are in Roll genetics.
